In an attempt to eat more fruit, I’ve started having yogurt for breakfast. I haven’t been a big fan of yogurt since I was a babe, and as you may know, I hadn’t been a big fan of blueberries either, but lately I’ve gotten really into this fresh combo.
Here’s how I enjoy this quick, easy, & healthy breakfast.
I add a few scoops of non fat plain greek yogurt to a bowl. Then I top the yogurt with fresh blueberries, sliced almonds, and honey. Sometimes I add other fruit and/or granola; here’s a good granola recipe if you’d like to DIY.
What’s so great about this “recipe” is that it’s totally customizable. Do you prefer vanilla yogurt? Use vanilla yogurt! Do the blackberries at the grocery store look super? Add blackberries! Are you crazy for macadamia nuts? Add the macadamias! It’s all up to you. Use what you have and what you like.
